Netgear Completes Infrant Technologies Acquisition

SANTA CLARA, CA -- Networking company Netgear (Nasdaq: NTGR) announced the completion of its acquisition of Fremont, CA-based Infrant Technologies.

Infrant provides enterprise level storage technology to small business and individual power users at affordable prices.  The acquisition by Netgear is designed to broaden its product portfolio, add to its management expertise and strengthen its global footprint.

The transaction was paid for with $60 million in cash, with the opportunity of another $20 million over the three years following today's close, if if specific revenue targets are met.
